Pantor (active ingredient pantoprazole) is a "delayed-release" (or enteric-coated) proton pump inhibitor (PPI). The delayed-release mechanism ensures the medicine passes through the stomach safely and dissolves in the intestine, where it can be absorbed effectively to reduce stomach acid. It is available as 20mg and 40mg tablets.
